In Nature
White puffs dancing on the tips of twigs
I pull apart
between my fingers
A soft kiss on the
pad of flesh
Tendrils of white
laying on the appendages
Soft, fleshy, small
brittle bones
snap under a prod of pressure
break apart, crumbles, drops
Small dots of
Alabaster
Falling down
Down
Down
Onto the brown
Fleshy mud covered with
flecks of frost
Ice crunching as I traverse the plains
little seeds merging into the
brown soil
My shoes dig into the ground
tearing up the earth;
mixing crystals of transparency
into the terrain
I follow the soft trickle
towards
the gentle rippling of water.
The ebb and flow
of rock and water, and rock
And water
I held the branch as the wind blew
its small arm flailing in the wind
Pearl droplets
Scattering
amongst the earth
Whilst the wind blew,
And blew,
and
blew the small white puff into the water
And down the stream
